National Climate Demonstration 2026
National Climate Demonstration 2026 📢 🌍
📅Save the Date: Saturday, 14 November 2026
Mark it in your calendar, spread the word to friends and family, and dust off your placards! ✊
Last year, thousands of people took to the streets of Dublin to demand climate action and an end to our dependence on fossil fuels.
This year, we’re coming together once again to make our voices heard, organised by @stopclimatechaosire
The need for action has never been greater. We have just experienced the the hottest summer on record, and the impacts of climate change are becoming impossible to ignore. Together, we must act to stop climate chaos.

International Youth Day
12th August marks International Youth Day. This year, the theme for this day is Youth Advancing Multilateral Cooperation Through Technology and Partnerships.
Dominican Sisters in the Moreno area of Greater Buenos Aires in Argentina are supporting local young people to reach university education.
‘Together, Paving the Way’ (JAC – Juntos Abriendo Caminos) is a project run by the community of Dominican Sisters in Moreno, which supports and guides young people in the area to help them succeed in their university studies. This includes providing a study space, as well as moral, practical, spiritual and technological support. The Sisters are tackling the issue of inclusion with a person-centred approach, whilst defending the right to free, high-quality public education.

Season of Creation 2026
The Season of Creation starts on 1st September, and runs until 4th October. It’s a time when Christians are reminded of our role in and responsibility for caring for creation. The theme of the Season this year is “Living Waters”. In the celebration guide (https://drive.google.com/…/1WeWEjt…/view) you will find lots of useful resources, suggestions for holding prayer services outdoors near water (to go with the ‘Living Waters’ theme), a list of interesting online screenings, and much more.
