Summer Retreat

Dominican Convent Cabra recently held its Summer Retreat, led by Sr. Arlene Flaherty OP. A Dominican Sister of Blauvelt, NY, and an alumnui of An Tairseach, Wicklow. The theme for the retreat was “Everything Ablaze: Encounters with the One Who is Ablaze In Us”

During the week, the community and sisters from other communities  reflected on the Book of scripture and the Book of Nature exploring the wonderful gift of creation and the importance of right relations with each other and nature. There was an opportunity for community prayer, personal prayer, reflection and inspiring inputs from Arlene.
