Escuchando tus palabras
Algo nuevo nació en mí
Es que nunca nadie
Nos había venido a hablar así
Ahora veo claro
La verdad está en ti
Jesús, te seguiré
Donde me lleves, iré
Muéstrame ese lugar donde vives
Quiero quedarme contigo allí
Hoy he visto como se aman
Los que viven junto a ti
Hace tiempo que sediento
Había querido amar así
Ahora siento que tu amor
Viene hacia mí
Jesús, te seguiré
Hoy he visto a los leprosos sanos
Y a los ciegos ver
Hasta el pan multiplicaste
Para darnos de comer
Oh, maestro mío
Exaltation of the Cross
Sunday, September 14th
Exaltation of the Cross, referring to this feast that deeply defines us as Christians, from Moses, who accompanied those suffering people of that time with
dialogues of Hope and Faith, to our people today, the communities we accompany and who accompany us, also suffering, carrying a cross they did not ask for, and which is difficult to bear.
However, in the midst of all this violence, hunger, war, where people are expelled from their villages in search of peace, bread, and work, where together we learn that only the immense love of God unites us, he teaches us not to judge, to serve within all our strengths and weaknesses.
The Exaltation of the Cross is an experience where the cross is not a sign of violence but of hope and salvation as a giver of life.
How do we integrate the EXALTATION OF THE CROSS into our lives? What vision do we have of the Cross as an experience of Faith? Do I share the “crucified” of life?
Our greatest challenge in this jubilee is Pilgrims of Hope, making people aware that hope does not disappoint.
SONG “JESUS, I WILL FOLLOW YOU”
Jesus, I will follow you
Wherever you take me, I will go
Show me the place where you live
I want to stay with you there
Jesus, I will follow you
Wherever you take me, I will go
Show me the place where you live
I want to stay with you there
Listening to your words
Something new was born in me
It’s that no one
Had ever come to speak to us like that
Now I see clearly
The truth is in you
Jesus, I will follow you
Wherever you take me, I will go
Show me that place where you live
I want to stay with you there
Today I have seen how those
Those who live with you
For a long time, thirsty,
I had wanted to love like that
Now I feel that your love
Is coming to me
Jesus, I will follow you
Today I have seen the lepers healed
And the blind see
You even multiplied the bread
To feed us
Oh, my teacher
