Dominicans for Justice and Peace

On Saturday 25th January 2025, a huge crowd joined the solidarity demonstration walking from Parnell square to the Dail along O’Connell street, walking but also fervently chanting phrases like: Free Palestine now, we are all Palestinians. Banners and flags were waving or carried in front of the group, and the Dominican justice office banner among them proudly held by in turn, by sisters and colleagues. Trocaire was one of the main organisers.
Speeches were made in front of the Dail to enthusiastic applause. It was a stirring occasion and hopefully will make some impact.
